Who we are

Build Good is a community organization for all, centering the wants, needs, and dismantling the systemic challenges of Black folks through inner child work and educational skill-shares.

Established in 2025, The Build Good Collective is a hub for free thought, intentional community building, and holistic healing. We believe in a world where joy and justice coexist, where healing isn’t an individual journey but a collective one, and where the skills, knowledge, and care that our ancestors cultivated are nurtured and expanded upon.

At our core, we are:

  • Dreamers & Doers – dedicated to reimagining what community care looks like and making it real through actionable, accessible programs.

  • Builders of Joy & Liberation – centering play, art, and movement as tools to heal our inner children and empower our communities.

  • Teachers & Students – facilitating educational skill-shares that return knowledge back into the hands of the people.

  • Rooted & Growing – honoring ancestral wisdom while nurturing new ideas, relationships, and futures.

We are here to build good. To do good. To be good. Together.

    she/her/hers

I’m the Head of Data and Impact at BGC, helping make sure our projects and programs deliver research-backed benefits for mental, physical, and emotional health. I have a background in learning and development and an M.A. in Adult Learning and Leadership. Through my consultancy, ChangeHarvest, I help people learn faster and teams perform better. In my free time, I love writing and acrylic painting—so BGC’s mission of connection through childhood joys instantly spoke to me.
